London Is The Place For Me: Book Launch - Is Just A Movie By Earl Lovelace
The London Launch of the latest long-awaited book by award-winning writer. Earl Lovelace, published in 2011.
Set in the town of Cascadu, Trinidad, at a time when the 1970 Black Power rebellion has failed, Lovelace's sixth book explores the nature, causes and effects of rebellion and the state of contemporary Trinidad.
As with his previous books, Lovelace chronicles the cultural, social and racial diversity of his birthplace with affection and a sharp-eyed humour.
Part of a free festival, celebrating of 50 years of Trinidad and Tobago independence.
