Drama Triple Bill - Plays By Mamet, Stoppard And Greening

The Woodhouse Players present a Triple Bill of contrasting plays to provoke, amuse and entertain.

The Book Club Of Little Witterington by Joan Greening is a gentle comedy about friendship, pretensions, books, vicars and cake.

In Tom Stoppard's A Separate Peace, when the enigmatic John Brown checks into a private hospital, the doctors are confused: he freely admits that there is nothing wrong with him. But it's only a matter of time before he gives too much away and is forced to confront the past.

David Mamet's Pulitzer prize-winning Glengarry Glen Ross is set in 1980s Chicago where four real estate agents are engaged in a desperate sales contest. The top salesman at the end of the month gets a free Cadillac, the second wins a set of steak knives, and the bottom two will be fired. But with so much at stake, not everyone is prepared to play by the rules. Note: this play contains very strong language throughout. Not suitable for under 16s
