Ball In The Hall

To celebrate the opening of the Great Gallery, you are invited to a free event for young people at the Wallace Collection in central London. Come along and explore the paintings, get your photograph taken, learn some dance moves and win prizes.

Event Programme:

Old School Ball
Swing back in time and learn how to dance the Quadrille, a 19th century craze.
Times: 1.30-2.15pm, 2.30-3.15pm and 3.30-4.15pm

Selfie Photo-bomb
#selfietime! Here’s your chance to photo-bomb the great works from the Great Gallery.

Art is Me
Come alive through drawing, caricaturist Anna Saunders is here to re-invent you.

Artistic Flare
Unleash your inner artiste! Design, decorate and display fans, magnets and masks inspired by the collection.
Times: 12.00-1.30pm and 2.30-4.00pm

The Geffrye’s YAP invite you to join in the Great Gallery Instagram Trail. Complete the photography quiz, tag your images #ballinthehall to win prizes.
