The Vortex is delighted to present Sam Crowe's album launch. Following the success of Crowe's first album Synaesthesia (F-IRE 2010), this second album brings together some of the most talked about musicians in the world. The album features Will Vinson, Mark Guiliana and Alan Hampton as well as SCG stalwarts Adam Waldmann and Will Davies.
The writing continues to draw on Crowe's diverse influences from Jimi Hendrix to Roni Size through to John Taylor and Keith Jarrett as he develops a highly unique sound and has a constant feeling of 'hope' whilst addressing and drawing from themes such as the Gaia hypothesis, global consciousness, corruption and the evolution of the human race.

Crowe has been a regular feature on the London Jazz scene for sometime and has had notable appearances with The London Jazz Orchestra.
