Soundcheque: 'Sound For Sight'

Ever wondered how the world would sound without sight? Soundcheque is proud to present 'Sound for Sight', a one-of-a-kind fundraising gala that will transform your senses. Come and celebrate World Sight Day at the world famous Tabernacle, in Notting Hill, on October 9, for a night filled with inspirational people and surprise celebrity performances! Embark on an unbelievable journey, a concert in pitch darkness, in partnership with RP Fighting Blindness.

'Sound for Sight' is the grand finale of a week-long challenge taken by Soundcheque Founder, Laura Westcott who will become blind for a week to raise awareness of the genetic eye disorder, retinitis pigmentosa. Laura decided to partake in this challenge after discovering that her friend, Yvette Chivers - Founder of Beats Foundation CIC, has the condition RP.

The event will be streamed live on Soundcheque.com and will also be recorded live. An album will be available soon after, with proceeds going to RP Fighting Blindness.
