Barnes Music Society - Children's Concerts
This event is the Society's second contribution to the 2015 Barnes Music Festival.
Early music can be a direct link with the past, brought to life in live performance. The songs and dances of another age give a glimpse into the lives of the people who first created them.
Misericordia use music to put children in touch with history, and offer them a unique opportunity to see, hear, touch and even play authentic early instruments.
This morning will be enormous fun for children to do this as well as learn some exciting pageant songs. This will be followed by their joining in the Pageant on Barnes Green at noon, a great opportunity to be part of the Barnes Music Festival!
Children accompanied by an adult ticket holder go free to this event.
