Tinie Tempah originated from South London, gaining notoriety in 2006 with his underground debut single 'Wifey'. Later, Tinie Tempah (real name Patrick Junior C. Okongwu) would come to top the UK charts in 2010 with 'Pass Out', a song 'about getting so out of it that you pass out'. In less than six months Tinie Tempah has gone from underground buzz artist to bona fide pop phenomenon.

Union J were X Factor finalists in 2012. Since their time on the show it has been non-stop for the boys and they have got off to an impressive start. With a top 5 single, almost a million twitter followers, 9 million views on Youtube and a book deal in the bag, it would seem Union J's limits are endless and 2013 is set to be their year.

Olly Murs was the runner-up of The X Factor in 2009. Since then the loveable Essex boy has found his own style and sound, while proving the critics wrong by going straight to no.1 with his debut single, the reggae-tinged 'Please Don't Let Me Go'. With a successful eponymous debut album under his belt and a second album due in 2011, Olly's blend of Stevie Wonder-lovin' soulful pop and reggae show no signs of stopping.

As her debut album, Lights, made so thrillingly clear, Ellie Goulding uses her voice as a texture in much the same way that a skilled instrumentalist would. It is a sound – in Ellie's case, an utterly distinctive and unforgettable one – that can play as important a role in her songs as any other musical detail.
The BRIT-winning singer/songwriter released Lights in 2010 and followed it up with Halcyon in 2012. Both albums peaked at number one in the UK album chart and went double-platinum. Halcyon was re-released with ten additional tracks as Halcyon Days in 2013. These included How Long Will I Love You?, which became the BBC Children in Need single, and her first number one single, Burn, which has since racked up nearly 160 million views on YouTube.

Their debut album is a mixture of pop and hip hop incorporating the fun elements of the old school hip-hop era circa 1988-92.
