Non-Classical Presents Battle Of The Bands: Tansy Davies + Matthew Barley + Gabriel Prokofiev + Richard Lannoy
A search for the next big thing in contemporary classical music.
Representing the full, diverse spectrum of contemporary music-making in London, from classically-inspired improvisation to live electronics, groups incorporating spoken word and extended vocal techniques, as well as more familiar groupings showcasing new work by emerging composers.
Information for Entrants:
This an open contest for contemporary classical music groups. Instrumentation is limited only by your imagination. Any combination of acoustic and electronic instruments will be considered.
Entrants should send the following to firstname.lastname@example.org
- A short biography / description
- Name(s) of players / instrumentation
- List of proposed music to perform, lasting 10-12 minutes.
Deadline for entrants: Monday 30th April
