PigPen, legendary underground cultural night (since 2008) run by artist and autist- Ben and Gabriel- is here with it’s first event of the year.
PigPen is a platform for cultural, cross-ability and neuro-diverse exchange. It is a place where boundaries are broken down- opening doors to a new cultural landscape.
At the heart of PigPen are it’s founding members and co-organisers- Ben and Gabriel. Artist and Autist. Gabriel is 24, non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. He communicates with a yes/no communication device. Ben is 30 and on the art school spectrum. He communicates the story of their collaboration through comic books.
Dean Atta
Award winning poet, presenter, producer and director, Dean Atta co-wrote and co-produced the critically acclaimed original musical, Scratched Out - The Urban Musical, for the London stage. Dean has received several writing commissions, including poems for Maya Angelou's 80th Birthday Gala at the Dorchester Hotel and the Gay Icons exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery.
