Minny Pops
Playing live in 2012 for the first time in 30 years, Dutch electro pioneers Minny Pops took their name from the Korg drum machine driving their post-punk rhythms. Signed to Factory, they toured with Joy Division / New Order, worked with Martin Hannett and were the first Dutch group to record a Peel session.
'Their cold menace sounds remarkably fresh, bearing favourable comparisons with contemporaries such as Simple Minds and Tubeway Army as well as the current crop of analogue pretenders' - Uncut.

Frontman with Manchester indie gods The Charlatans, Tim also performs solo gigs playing a mix of old favourites and new tunes. A busy man, he is also an in-demand DJ playing a heady mix of northern soul, funk and indie when behind the decks. Tim has also turned writer, publishing 'Telling Stories', his well-received biography, in 2012.
