An Evening With: Candythief
Psych-folk Singer-Songwriter Diana de Cabarrus will host a evening of various entertainments: Lilias of the Graphite Set performing her material, and Candythief performing songs from her new album, as tipped by BBC 6 music DJs. Idlers are invited to submit song choices for a sing-a-long as part of the evening, and there will be a free glass of wine.

Candythief
Candythief is singer-songwriter Diana de Cabarrus, who first emerged in association with Fence records. Drawing on alternative, folk, psych pop and indie influences, the songs are melody-driven and coloured by unusual song structures. Themes often deals in an uplifting way with the possibility that modern culture has sold us a bit of a lemon.
On record and live, Candythief supplies an invigoratingly vital alternative version of the female singer songwriter.
