Young recitalist Simon Watterton leads us on a journey from the inner world of Brahms, through the charming ease of early Frank Bridge to one of Mozart's stormiest and personal works, the Sonata in A Minor K310.

The Caged Byrd: A migration through time: Mozart was one of music's great travellers - as a child taken far and wide by his father to impress the courts of Europe; as an adult, in a tireless search for employment and recognition. Before his powerful A Minor sonata, a stop off in each century from the 16th to the 20th via haikus, cuckoos and Brahms.
