Laugh Till It Hurts: Alistair Barrie, Hal Cruttenden, Terry Alderton, Pete Johansson, Joe Lycett, Stephen Carlin
In aid of Red Nose Day.
Alistair Barrie (MC) "Barrie's analytical nous and store of snappy gags mark him out, Excellent" Independent.
Hal Cruttenden "One thing he needn't worry about is being funny" Scotsman.
Terry Alderton "Terry Alderton is on astonishing form...masterful" Times.
Pete Johansson "Supremely entertaining" Independent.
Stephen Carlin "Ready to become at the very least a cult favourite Among fans of the sharper end of stand-up" Guardian.
Joe Lycett "Rising Talent Joe Lycett already possesses the confidence and relaxed homely charm of an old campaigner" Times.
Alistair Barrie
Much in demand as an act, Alistair Barrie has forged a reputation for himself as one of the top comperes to emerge in recent years. His deceptively friendly and engaging stage presence masks a sharp, dry wit which can be turned to subjects as diverse as suicide bombers in the Middle East to the perils of flying EasyJet. Despite a fondness for topical material, any performance is likely to be peppered with some inspired silliness and a little audience-related improvisation.

Hal Cruttenden
After an extremely busy 2009 supporting Rob Brydon on his sold out UK tour and a critically acclaimed performance on The Royal Variety Show, 2010 looks to follow a similar vein with autumn appearances on BBC TV's Michael McIntyre Roadshow and The Rob Brydon show. It's safe to say Hal is one of the UK's fastest rising comedy stars and he is here to present his own unique comic vision. He's angry … but not sure why! "A delightful surprise… warm-hearted, quick- witted observations about being a camp, middle class heterosexual." - The Daily Telegraph

Terry Alderton
A loose-limbed, physical comedian who has had a rapid rise through the ranks and has been nominated for a Perrier Award. His shows are packed full of riotous exuberance and caricature.
'People keep asking me what is the best Edinburgh Festival show I've seen so far. The answer is simple - Terry Alderton' (The Sun)
'One of the best live shows I've ever seen. He's a f***ing genius!' Frank Skinner
'... effortlessly enjoyable yet excitingly different' (The Times).

Pete Johansson
Pete Johansson is as sharp, confident and relaxed as you might expect of a top-notch half Canadian, half American comic. A big US favourite after a barnstorming gig at Montreal's bigwig Just For Laughs Festival, so sit back and enjoy as Pete mocks some of our funny little English ways.

Joe Lycett
Joe Lycett is a hugely talented up-and-coming comedian with an unaffected, relaxed and effortless stage presence. An appealing, engaging and natural performer.
'Joe Lycett is one of the strongest emerging comedy talents we've seen in a long time. This young man has a huge future' (Time Out).
