Once Upon A Time At The Fairground

Once upon a time...

...a travelling troupe appeared on London's outskirts, from whence no one could tell. They took up residence in an old and crumbling edifice and put on a fair that could compare with none encountered in this city before or since.

Though there were the usual fairground exploits - the games, the freaks, the stunts that inspired both terror and speechless awe - it was with a more mysterious power that entranced all who stumbled by. To chaos, sensual hedonism, devious misrule: in a giddy whirl we abandoned body and mind.

When we woke late the next day, all had vanished. We could only wonder whether it had all been real or the strangest and most fantastic of dreams.

For one night only, the fair rolls into Bussey Building. Four floors of bands, DJ's, fairground games and much, much more await... roll up, roll up, and don't miss out.
