Delightfully off-kilter ditties from Isabel Monteiro and Co. They have been described as the best indie band in Britain and have four albums and numerous singles all of which met with huge critical acclaim. This music is food for the soul and can be described as 'delicious poison, music with an irresistably morbid glamour'.
They are back with a freshly stocked combo and a gorgeously melancholic new album 'Anatomy'.

Sweet Sweet Lies
A crudely drawn mix of folk, bluegrass, and post-punk. They draw reference from such influences as Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Willie Nelson, Tom Waits and Kurt Weill. Vocalist Dominic VonTrapp’s voice is as smooth as it is haunting and his lyrics are witty and full of pathos. Augmented by co-conspirator Michael Hayes’s guitar work, his simple yet touching songs linger in the mind long after they’re gone
