Crawlternative Media Expo (C.A.M.E.): Blacklisters + Toy + Dutch Uncles + Spoken word guests
Camden Crawl is pleased to reveal the addition of the debut Crawlternative Media Expo (C.A.M.E.) as part of this year’s festival set to take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Three influential collectives, Alternative Press Festival, Poster Roast and Lexington Record Fair, have been brought together for the first time to create a one-of-a-kind free exhibition showcasing the alternative arts of underground press and zine making, gig poster design and screen printing and record collecting under one rather large roof within the magnificent setting of Camden’s historic St. Michaels Church.
The exhibition will also feature live music and spoken word performances each afternoon and a fully licensed bar/café.
Toy
Former members of Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Toy are: Tom Dougall (vocals / guitar), Dominic O’Dair (guitars), Maxim Barron (bass / vocals), Alejandra Diez (synths / modulations) & Charlie Salvidge (drums / vocals).
Their live shows are a mesmerising mix of flailing limbs, massive analogue synths, twin guitars and an ever-evolving pyschedelic sound.

Dutch Uncles
Bouncy and delightful indie from Manchester with some jaunty rock thrown in. Straddling the new wave line with a big bucket of songs and distinctive vocals, their songs have the ability to get stuck in your head and stay there.
