This is a rare opportunity to hear live one of the finest voices to emerge anywhere in recent years. In her debut solo recital in London, kindly given as a fundraising concert for Pushkin House, the young Russian soprano Julia Lezhneva will sing a programme of baroque arias from her new CD ‘Alleluia’ to be released by Decca, as well as music by Rossini, Schubert and Rachmaninov. Afterwards, Ms. Lezhneva will sign copies of her new CD.
Pushkin House is currently raising funds to enable them to invite young creative talent from Russia and to refurbish the interior of their beautiful premises. Come and support Pushkin House and hear an extraordinary new talent in the beautiful baroque surroundings of St James Piccadilly.
