Sergei Podobedov
In the first of two concerts, London-based Russian virtuoso pianist, Sergei Podobedov, makes his first appearance at The Studio at St. James Theatre with a programme including works by Chopin and Prokofiev, plus the First Piano Sonata, Op. 14, by Welsh composer David Braid.
Sergei gave the World Premiere of this dazzling and hauntingly beautiful new work at the Southbank's Purcell Room last summer and it is quickly becoming a favourite among audiences.
