The Cannibal Valour Of Bussy D'Ambois
George Chapman's raucous masterpiece, based (loosely) on the life of Louis de Bussy D'Amboise (murdered in 1579), takes its audience on a hectic romp through the hypocrisy of power; along the way it summons a devil, tortures a wife and fights a six-way duel.
The flagship production of the season, Bussy D'Ambois is a blistering gallop of a play, performed here in a new edition created specifically for the season.
