BrynFest: Bryn's Big Sing: Bryn Terfel
A festival climax like none other! Join Bryn Terfel himself and hundreds of other singers on the outdoor terraces of the Royal Festival Hall to belt out rousing classics of Welsh song, including Men Of Harlech , Cwm Rhondda, All Through The Night, Land Of My Fathers, and others. Whether a true native or not, become part of a massive Welsh choir for the day (or simply come along to enjoy the spectacle) and experience for yourself the famous Welsh proverb:"To be born Welsh is to be born with music in your blood and poetry in your soul”.
The performance itself will take place at 5.30pm, but for those who want to take part there is a prior rehearsal and warm-up at 4pm. Prior to the day itself, you can also take part in two Choral Clubs – on 4 and 5 of July – to learn the repertoire, and access learning resources at Southbank Centre’s website.
