Fragile Souls, Little Brother Eli

This night celebrates the release of 'Broken', Fragile Souls debut EP release on 27th October 2014. The EP is Fragile Souls first steps on their journey. Inspired by such diverse influences as Depeche Mode's "Violator" and Johnny Cash's American Recordings and Freegard's previous involvement with House music and books by John Steinbeck and Douglas Coupland and films such as, The Hunger, In Cold Blood, A Few Dollars More and The Ipcress Files, the four gentlemen have distilled a sonic concoction that brings meaning to the term 21st Century Porch Blues.

A fusion of electronica and the deceiving simplicity of the blues mixed with a lyrical ambiguity where nothing is really as it seems. These four songs which are a taster for the bands forthcoming album, have a musical and narrative depth to them that are only found by people who have lived and know what they are talking about.
