Cabaret (Touring), Will Young
Rufus Norris' much anticipated re-imagining of his double Olivier-award winning production of Cabaret is to star internationally renowned singer/songwriter Will Young in his musical theatre debut as the enigmatic Emcee.
Since its Broadway premiere in 1966 and the famous movie version with Liza Minnelli and Oscar winner Joel Grey, Cabaret has won a staggering number of stage and screen awards including 8 Oscars, 7 BAFTAs and 13 Tonys.
The production heads out in September for an exclusive four week tour prior to the West End run.

Kander and Ebb's landmark musical turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a dark and sexually charged haven of decadence, its extraordinary and morally ambiguous inhabitants determined to keep up appearances as the real world - outside the comfortable sanctuary of the cabaret - prepares for the nightmarish chaos of war. From the creators of the hit musical Chicago, Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre, including 'Mein Herr', 'Maybe This Time' and of course 'Cabaret'. *All casting is subject to change - please check with the Box Office when booking.

Will Young originally shot to fame after winning Pop Idol 2002, but has since gone on to defy the critics by releasing four multi-platinum selling albums, being voted the UK's Favourite Artist twice and receiving critical acclaim for hit singles such as Leave Right Now and All Time Love. His bluesy, soulful voice, mature song writing and undeniably good looks have made him a national treasure and one of the UK's best-loved artists.
