Whatever Happened to LaLa Shockette charts the rise to fame of 80s pop star (& Lowri-Ann Richards's alter-ego) LaLa Shockette from her emergence as a Blitz kid in the burgeoning New Romantic scene to performing on stadium tours. We witness LaLa’s escape from her Welsh farming community, an innocent 19- year-old with just a hand-bag and a duffle coat, her story describes how she soon gets sucked up into the debauchery and hedonism of the early 80s.
