Funharmonics - The Toad And The Snail
Hear Roald Dahl's hilarious masterpiece of absurd verse, The Toad and the Snail!
Composer and conductor Benjamin Wallfisch has written some new music to accompany this witty work.
LPO FUNharmonics concerts are presented by CBeebies' Chris Jarvis and, at one hour long, are the very best way to introduce your family to the wonders of orchestral music.
Suitable for children aged 3 to 11.
From 10:00am to 2:00pm there are free musical events around the building; have a go at playing an orchestral instrument of your choice, and join in with the music-making workshops on The Clore Ballroom at Royal Festival Hall. A guest ensemble of young musicians entertains after the concert.
