Hogcallin
Hogcallin' are an eight piece band, with a powerful four piece horn line-up and virtuoso rhythm section. We play the music of Charles Mingus, pushing the rawness of the blues to the forefront. Following the format of Mingus' more improvised arrangements, the band now includes Helen Mcdonald (vocals) and Ayo Akintonwa (guitar) in their line-up.

Featuring Adrian Northover on alto sax, Sue Lynch on tenor sax / flute, Sarha Moore on baritone sax Dave Jago on trombone, Vladimir Miller on keyboard, Helen McDonald on vocals, John Edwards on double bass and Steve Noble on drums.
