Sword Swallowing Day
Down the hatch without a scratch... World Sword Swallowers Day returns to the Capital.
On 23 February 2013, one of the world's finest sword swallowers will give a free demonstration of the ancient art in the heart of the West End - and promise to leave the crowds open-mouthed too.
Daredevil sword swallower El Lurchio will feature in the UK leg of the annual celebration, which will also take place at 20 other locations around the world at the same time.
The sword swallowing performance will take place at Ripley's Believe it or Not! London at 14.23.
