How the digital world can help the arts break physical boundaries connecting places and people.

What you will learn: how to create artwork that can be translated across a variety of digital mediums.

Theme: Private versus public. Untold stories and secrets

Bring: Smartphone, tablet, camera, laptop and loose clothes to move in

Prerequisites: None! There will be movement involved from a contemporary dance angle, however there are other ways to participate if you don't want to do so physically.

They also want to create and test new models of communication between artists and their audiences to help increase the transparency of your work.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to work with Joumana Mourad, Artistic Director of IJAD Dance Company who have been integrating new technology since it was set up in 1999. She is the pioneer of 'sensography' which explores how the emotional and interpretive intensity of a live performance can be transmitted digitally without losing integrity. You will be an important part of this process and the workshops inspire an In-Finite project, over a year in development which premiers internationally on 8th March 2013.
