Mahala Rai Banda
Romania's funkiest new Gypsy outfit, shaped in the Gypsy ghettos around Bucharest. Combining Romanian violin, accordion and clarinet with driving Turkish percussion and Eastern European military brass, they are as at home playing on the BORAT soundtrack, stirring up a frenzy at Glastonbury Festival, or playing for 3 days solid at a Balkan wedding, Mahala Rai Bandha rock a party like no other.
