As the winter nights get shorter and the days lighter (well, a bit), here is something to put that extra spring in your metatarsals: Jawdance!
Yes, the spoken word extravaganza returns to Rich Mix, every fourth Wednesday of the month.
To get on the ever-popular open-mic, just arrive nice and early.

Mr Gee
Mr Gee started out as a hiphop and funk DJ, before getting involved in London's underground poetry scene. Hosting the highly acclaimed spoken work night 'Brix-Tongue' led to him becoming a radio presenter. He has been the main host for various spoken word shows, as well as a guest on comedian Russell Brand's BBC radio show. He also writes comedy for TV, film and radio, as well as current affairs poems for BBC radio.

A national performance poetry organisation which operates from Battersea Arts Centre. Now thirty, with a national staff of 14, Apples And Snakes continues to stretch the boundaries of poetry in education and performance, by inspiring participation and giving voice to a diverse range of spoken word artists.
