Reverend JW Simpson is pleased to announce a new autumn series of informative, interactive and irreverent Spirited Sermons master-classes.

On Tuesday 30th September, the focus will be Small Batch Bourbon. Produced by mixing the contents of a relatively small number of selected barrels, small-batch Bourbon is typically aged from six to nine years in oak barrels. Learn about the history of this captivating drink, test it in an Old Fashioned and a Rat Pack Manhattan, or impress our bartenders with your own concoction.

Throughout the evening, the host will join guests to examine the spirit, offering facts and amusing anecdotes about its history and production, whilst Rev JW Simpson's experienced cocktail bartenders show how to use the spirit's flavours to create beautiful and delicious concoctions. Guests will then have the opportunity to use their new skills to shake and stir their own cocktail.
