Never miss another 'Alexei Ogrintchouk' show
BBT Unwrapped: Oboe Masterclass: Alexei Ogrintchouk
A masterclass with Russian oboist Alexei Ogrintchouk, who doesn't just have big lungs (it's official!) and a big smile, he also has an all-embracing approach to his musical life which he describes as a 'permanent masterclass'.
He performs every role with relish and passion, be it soloist, teacher, chamber musician or principal oboist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
Probably the hardest to play of all the woodwind instruments, Ogrintchouk demonstrates the powers of the oboe on stage with young musicians from The Royal Academy of Music.
Please note - this free event requires a ticket. You can reserve your ticket online (£1.75 transaction fee) or by phone on 0844 847 9910 (£2.75 transaction fee). Transaction fees apply per transaction, not per ticket. You can also reserve your seat without a transaction fee by visiting one of the Southbank Centre Ticket Offices in person.
