Unlimited Festival - Resonance At The Still Point Of Change
The premiere performance of a new audio-visual song-cycle that reveals unexpected connections between sight, sound, touch and words.
Composer Simon Allen's richly intricate score combines instrumental and natural sounds with electronic processes and breathtaking multi-screen video images. Sung and spoken words visible on screen include a poetic response to the world of the piece.
'Resonance' explores live interplay of the senses and celebrates our ability for freely associated thought.
An eclectic ensemble of five musicians and three vocalists join to perform this unique experience.
Resonance at the Still Point of Change is an Unlimited Commission for the Cultural Olympiad.
