Kaavish - A 10th Anniversary Celebration: Sonia Sabri Company
The award-winning Sonia Sabri has established herself as one of the UK's foremost kathak dancer-choreographers, creating work that explores both classical and contemporary elements.
A celebration of the 10th anniversary of the company, 'Kaavish' presents a mix of old and new. The first half traces the company's past, presenting three acclaimed works including the solo 'Urban Dream' choreographed by Shobana Jeyasingh.
The second half is a specially commissioned new work, 'Labyrinth' - a collaboration between Sonia and acclaimed bharatanatyam performer Ash Mukherjee.
