Arthur Miller’s only musical receives its London premiere at the New Wimbledon Studio. Based on Miller’s The Creation of the World and Other Business, Up From Paradise is the musical re-telling of the world’s First Family told with all the satirical wit and wisdom of America’s greatest playwright. Miller uses Adam and Eve to ask universal questions which have plagued humanity since time incarnate: why do humans flounder so? Who is really in charge? Who has ultimate moral responsibility?

With extraordinary music from one of America’s most celebrated composers Stanley Silverman, ranging from baroque to Harlem gospel, this promises to be one of the most exciting and fulfilling discoveries in London for decades.
