Lunchtime Lectures: Rogue Male: Death And Seduction In The Second World War With Mister Major Geoff: Roger Field
After surviving numerous tank battles Geoffrey Gordon-Creed joined the SAS and then SOE. In Central Greece he destroyed the Asospos Viaduct, winning an immediate DSO: one of the genuine ‘spectaculars’ of WW2. This is the unvarnished story of fighting behind the lines, touching on previously taboo subjects, including murder, torture and seduction.
Roger Field, the author of 'Rogue Male: Sabotage and Seduction Behind German Lines with Geoffrey Gordon-Creed, DSO, MC', was in The Blues and Royals and saw active service in the Falklands War.
