Zodiac N Black
The story starts in March 2008 when vocalist Jad and guitarist Jim got Zodiac N Black together, the idea being to have an outlet for their songs. It took the pair a while to find the right people to complete the line-up, but finally in February 2010, they got the rhythm section to complement their musicality, with the arrival of bassist Hank and drummer Luca. Take influences such as Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, and Black Sabbath, and then add a grittier, more modern approach and you will understand where these guys are coming from. Inducing the inevitable tapping of feet and rocking of one's head, this is a band that should be firmly on your radar for the year ahead.
