Family Friendly Concert: The Bliss Ensemble
Take your children and teenagers - ideal for youngsters learning an instrument, Lauderdale House's unstuffy atmosphere and young performers make it perfect for nurturing the next generation of concert-goers. Family Friendly Concerts are hour long events that are not children's concerts as such but to which children are welcome. The age is at the discretion of the parent but, as a guide, the organisers would recommend starting at age 5 to 6 years.
Programme includes Malcom Arnold's Oboe Quartet Op 61, Jean Francaix' Quatour and Mozart's Quartet in F KV 370 (368b).
The Bliss Ensemble
A quartet featuring four graduates of Trinity College of Music - Ben Marshall (oboe), David Larkin (violin), Frances Higgs (viola) & Leah Evans (cello).
