Catfish And The Bottlemen

Catfish And The Bottlemen head out on a headline UK tour in November/December. The tour will follow both the release of their highly anticipated debut album The Balcony on September 15, 2014, and a frenetic festival season which sees the English lads from Llandudno playing over 30 dates including Reading & Leeds, Latitude and T In The Park, plus Ibiza/Mallorca Rocks alongside Jake Bugg.

A lean jolt of youthful energy- recorded with Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Peace) on production duties- The Balcony includes the singles Homesick, Rango, Pacifier , Kathleen and Fallout.

The album release sees the culmination of six years of tenacity and sheer bloody-mindedness from Van McCann (vocals/guitar), Billy Bibby (guitar), Benji Blakeaway (bass) and Bob Hall (drums). The turbo-charged last 18 months of this period has been spent very much in the public eye: signing to Communion/Island Records, earning Radio 1 playlist slots for their 3 most recent singles ‘Pacifier’, ‘Kathleen’ and ‘Fallout’ (with all 3 debuting as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World) and headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at this year’s Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
