Smerin's Anti-Social Club have been tearing up the South Coast with their brass-heavy blend of funk, dub, latin and ska music since 2001. Starting out playing at their own ever popular events at the Talking Heads in Southampton, they have progressed to regular club gigs in Cardiff and London, and toured round Cornwall and the South West gaining a large following along the way. The 10 piece lineup use the raw ingredients of ska, funk, dub, drum'n'bass and swing to full effect in their epic, brass-heavy instrumentals. Regular guest vocalists - including sassy Aussie songstress Nuala Honan - are bringing new dimensions to the band, but their sound still ripples with the unmistakeable energy, colour and humour that has always defined their unmissable performances
