Exceptional hip hop pioneers Fur headline with their savvy mix of brass laden Afro-grooves, full fat live beats and conscious rhymes. Plus Mamanollora bring a skanking mix of latin funk, rumba, reggae and swing and Renu and The Revellers celebrate Renu's second album 'Midnight Radio' with upbeat Tarantino-esque soundtrack style songs with funky influences from Serge Gainsbourg to Tom Waits. Fur
Fur take the best elements of British Hip-Hop – conscious lyrics and the role of the anti-hero – fused with Dilla-esque drum beats and the sounds of Mbalax, Ethio-Jazz and Dub, which they then reinvigorate with a live-band. At the forefront of the burgeoning Soul Rub scene, Fur bring the energy, spontaneity and crate-digging adventurousness that only a live band of Hip-Hop heads can.
