Genesis Revisited: Steve Hackett
With his newest album, 'Genesis Revisited II', on 22nd October, the legendary guitarist Steve Hackett's has announced plans for a 2013 world tour. The tour will be a special production and something of a departure from his recent live shows.
This will mark the first time any original former member of Genesis has toured the band's repertoire solely from the 1971 – 1977 period and will comprise songs co-written by Steve from that period, including such classics as 'Supper's Ready', 'Dancing with the Moonlit Knight' and 'The Musical Box'.
The line-up will feature the addition of Nad Sylvan as principal vocalist on several songs.
Steve Hackett
Former guitarist with Genesis and accomplished solo artist in his own right, Steve is as much at home with classical and Spanish guitar as he is belting out ultra-complex rock riffs. Steve's live electric gigs take his fans on an extraordinary journey that embodies all areas, from his Genesis days right through to the present, all woven together with his exceptionally unique and distinctive rock guitar sound.
