Micarera De Bahia - Carnival Closing Party : Elizangela Mahogany + DJ Bruno + Eri Okan
To close the Carnival week, a whole night dedicated to Bahia, bringing to London Brazil's northeastern vibes, with live Eri-Okan rocking the stage from 10pm, Dj Bruno in charge of the music before and after the band, and Franklin and Anax dancing and making you dance. Traditionally one of the busiest nights of Guanabara's carnival.
Eri Okan
Sounds of Bahian Roots culture and carnival vibes. Eri Okan means 'conscience' and the group, fronted by Xavier Osmir, plays inspirational grooves with lyrics dealing with profound themes. With songs in Portuguese, Yoruba, Pidgin and English, Eri Okan performs with 10 members, singing, dancing and drumming linking Bahia, Jamaica, Nigeria and London.
