Carnaval Carioca (Rio's Carnival)
A night of DJs and samba classes. Mafua de Yaya band gets a Carnival twist this week, including in their very classic Samba repertoire, some "Marchinhas" and other old-school anthems. Brazil's very own DJ Moises will drop the most popular "carnival" tunes before and after the band. This Monday night is the cheapest ticket to Rio you'll ever find - free entry! Plus Miss Rosa Nazira will lead you in the basic steps of Ballroom samba.
