The Jazz Meet: Andre Espeut + Vince Vella + DJ Rob Coley + A Latin Jazz Experiment
It's a bank holiday Jubilee special at The Jazz Meet this week but whilst everyone else is celebrating all things British, we thought we'd add a slight twist. So come Sunday expect a little Latin Jazz jam hosted by conguero Mark Townson (Caractacus the Conga Conqueror), vocalist Andre Espeut (Los Charly's Orchestra) and featuring a selection of London's finest Latin jazz players. DJ support comes from Jazz Meet resident Rob Coley and special guest Vince Vella (Havana Cultura).
DJ Rob Coley
Rob's love for music spans hiphop, soul, house, jazz and Afro Latin rhythms, dipping into the past and present while keeping up with new trends. Rob has held down a number of residencies over the past 10 years and is responsible for organising and promoting the annual Soul Identity Summer Boat Parties. As DJ and promoter of The Jazz Meet, he can currently be found behind the decks of the new Brazilian restaurant / club Floripa twice a month, alongside some of London's freshest live jazz talent.
