Summer School

Summer School is a programme of workshops, discussions and presentations across the five weekends of August. Flat Time House will open its indoor and outdoor spaces for conversation, creating a temporary community that will look at Flat Time House's relationship to a wider social, political and geographical context.

Using the house as a base to explore the local area, workshops will take the form of group storytelling and collective mappings that aim to discover the hidden narratives and politics of the surrounding streets. Discussions will draw on the nature of the house as a place for living and working, where art is made as well as shown, and where the building, the works, and the people within it are constantly reactive to each other.

All sessions are free and you can attend just one or all of them however booking is essential. Everyone is welcome though anyone under 16 should come with an adult.
