12 artists (Laura Bello, Judith Bieletto, Bridgitte Boldy, Stephanie Brunton, Lisa Kreuziger, Valerie G. Montgomery, Karma Percy, Renee Rilexie, Drew Sinclair, Anke Slebos, Nora Velazco, Kat Vogart) offer their personal responses to the ideas presented in Virginia Woolf’s feminist and modernist essay A Room of One’s Own published in 1929. It takes the name from the author’s belief that ‘a room of one’s own and money in one’s pocket’ are essential to women’s creative freedom.
