Bunker 194: Manuel Tur
Bunker start the year in some style as they invite one of the finest purveyors of deep house, Manuel Tur.
As a producer he has released some stunning music on the most respected labels including Mild Pitch, Drumpoet Community and Freerange, the latter of which he released his LP '0201'.
He will be joined by residents Bruno Balbino, Freaklou, Brenno, Sleasy-O, Sparky and the amazing Bunker faithful who will pack the dance floor from start to finish.
Manuel Tur
Manuel Tur has had a remarkable few years since his debut LP 0201 was released on Freerange in 2009. Notching up several key releases under his own name as well as starting up the Ribn project with Langenberg and their Mildpitch label alongside Dplay, it's clear that Manuel is intent on making his musical stamp on electronic music an indelible one. Not someone who is afraid to take risks, Manuel Tur veers from tough, techno-influenced jams right through to a raw filtered-disco sound. His recent remixes show another string to his bow, taking an even more experimental electronica direction, moving a step away from the dancefloor but maintaining a heavy, driving sound with slightly darker overtones.
