The Ex
The Ex is an underground band that emerged from the Dutch punk scene in the late 70s, and have developed into a melting pot of divergent musical styles, from jazz to ethnic music to rock. Discordant, highly rhythmic guitars, the rolling, almost African drumming style, and the intense delivery of the often ironic lyrics give the music of The Ex its special character.
