Ed Harcourt + Catherine A.D.
The inimitable Ed Harcourt releases his new single 'Hey Little Bruiser' March 25th, on CCCLX, the new label set up by Sean Adams, founder of Drowned in Sound. It's a highlight of the sublime new LP 'Back Into The Woods', which was recorded in just six hours at the iconic Abbey Road studios and is set for release on February 25th 2013.
A soaring, piano-led ode to his son (Franklyn), 'Hey Little Bruiser' features guest violin from Ed's wife Gita Harcourt and delivers standout line "you got the good bits from your mother and the bad parts from me", in typically self-deprecating fashion.
With Catherine A.D as special guest support, this Spring Ed will bring the album to life on a tour of England's finest churches and concert halls.
Ed Harcourt
Former apprentice bee-keeper and clown's assistant who has achieved a lot more success as a singer/songwriter. 'Listen to the songs when drunk, sober, happy or sad and they will make sense'.

Catherine A.D.
Catherine A.D. mixes stirring pop hooks, hand claps, snarls of guitar, glimmers of keyboard and serrated vocal somersaults into her cauldron of midnight piano and treacly growling - a voice that Courtney Love has described as 'gorgeous sick beautiful'.
