TJ Johnson and his band play an electrifying cocktail of cool jazz and rolling blues that blends the raw R&B of Ray Charles with the swagger of Dr John and the lovelorn, late-night croon of Tom Waits. Expect to hear a delicious swinging Gumbo stew of classics that jumps all over the musical map. "I suppose I would say I'm a jazz musician, but I love everything from country to blues," TJ explains. "I don't care as long as it's soulful and it swings."
